Lawns in Spring Hill

Spring Hill is the biggest community in Hernando County, and much of it was laid out as a planned community starting in the late 1960s. That means a lot of homes with lawns and oak trees that are decades old. Older lawns thin out under the shade of big oaks, and a dry spring can turn whole front yards brown in a few weeks.

When a lawn is that far gone, new sod is usually the quickest fix. When it’s still mostly there, steady mowing at the right height, trimmed edges and a bit of attention to the bare spots bring it back.

There are four things we do: new sod for a front, side or back yard that has died out, year-round or summer mowing, trimming hedges that have grown over the walk or the windows, and cleaning out front beds and refilling them with fresh mulch or rock. A job can be a mix, like new sod in front with fresh mulch in the beds.
