Lawn mowing and maintenance in Spring Hill, FL
Trimscape mows lawns year-round or just through the summer across Spring Hill, Hudson, Brooksville and Weeki Wachee. Each visit, the grass gets cut, the edges get trimmed and the walks and driveway get blown off before the crew leaves.

Year-round or summer mowing
From spring through fall, a lawn here can grow fast enough to need cutting every week, and the summer rains speed it up even more. Skipping a week or two means cutting off a lot of blade at once, which stresses the grass and leaves clumps of clippings on top of it. Mowing on a steady weekly schedule keeps the lawn even and healthy and keeps the yard looking kept up.
Yearly or summer mowing is the first thing on the side of our truck. You can have the lawn mowed all year, or just through the summer when it grows fastest. Once you’re on the schedule, it gets taken care of without you having to call.
What each visit includes
Every visit covers mowing the front and back, string trimming around beds, trees, fences and mailboxes, edging along the sidewalk and driveway, and blowing the clippings off the driveway, walks and porch. The goal is a yard that looks finished, not just cut.
If something needs more than a mow, like a bed full of weeds, a hedge that’s gotten away from you or a patch of lawn that’s dying out, ask Cesar for a price to fix it.
The right height for your grass
Cutting grass too short is one of the most common ways lawns get hurt in Florida. The University of Florida’s lawn experts suggest mowing most St. Augustine grass at 3.5 to 4 inches and Bahia at 3 to 4 inches, and taking off no more than a third of the blade in one mowing (UF/IFAS guide to mowing your Florida lawn). A taller lawn shades its own roots, holds water better and crowds out weeds.
Sharp blades matter too. A dull blade tears the tips of the grass instead of cutting them, and torn tips turn brown and give the whole lawn a dull look a day or two after mowing.

Questions about lawn mowing and maintenance
Do you mow all year or just in the summer?
Either. You can have the lawn mowed year-round, or just through the summer when it grows fastest. Ask Cesar what fits your yard.
Do you edge and blow off the driveway?
Yes. Every visit includes trimming around beds and fences, edging along the sidewalk and driveway, and blowing the clippings off the walks, driveway and porch.
How short should my grass be cut?
Most St. Augustine lawns do best at 3.5 to 4 inches and Bahia at 3 to 4 inches, according to the University of Florida. Cutting lower stresses the grass and lets weeds in.
Can you fix the bare spots in my lawn too?
Yes. Spots that are too far gone to come back can be cut out and replaced with fresh sod. Ask Cesar for a price.
What areas do you mow in?
