Landscape design and installation in Spring Hill, FL
A front yard with tired beds and bare dirt can look new again in a day. Trimscape lays out and builds landscape beds with shrubs and plants, fresh mulch or rock, and clean edges that set the beds off from the lawn.

Beds that finish the yard
Landscape beds are what make a yard look done: a bed along the front of the house, a ring around a tree, an island by the driveway or a small bed around the mailbox. When they’re full of weeds, faded mulch and bare spots, the whole house looks tired, even with a green lawn.
We clean out old beds or lay out new ones, set the edges, plant shrubs and plants, and top it all with fresh mulch or rock. The photos on this page are our own jobs, from a front yard with red mulch beds around the shrubs to a rock bed along a sidewalk.
Planning the yard
Good landscaping starts with where the beds go. Beds along the front of the house soften the walls and hide the foundation, a bed around the mailbox or at the corner of the driveway frames the yard from the street, and rings around trees keep the mower and string trimmer away from the trunk.
If you’re starting from scratch or redoing the whole front, Cesar can come out, walk the yard with you and put together a plan and a price, including new sod where the lawn is gone.
Planting for the Florida heat
Plants that do well here have to handle hot, wet summers, dry spells in the spring, sandy soil and the odd cold night in winter. We’ll help you pick shrubs and plants that fit how much sun the bed gets and how much care you want to give it, then plant them with enough room to grow.
Mulch or rock finishes the bed. Mulch holds moisture and keeps the roots cooler, rock lasts for years and stays put along driveways and around mailboxes. Many yards use both.

Questions about landscape design and installation
Can you redo my whole front yard?
Yes. Beds, plants, mulch or rock, and new sod where the lawn is gone can all be done as one job. Cesar will come out and give you a price.
Is rock or mulch better?
Mulch costs less and is better for plants because it holds moisture and feeds the soil as it breaks down. Rock lasts much longer and stays put, so it works well along the driveway and around the mailbox. Many yards use both.
What plants do well here?
Plants that handle full sun, summer rain and sandy soil. Cesar will help you pick ones that fit how much sun each bed gets.
